the walking thesis

The aggregation and flattening of demographic data in the census is problematic when thinking about its spatial implications. This flatness encourages a one dimensional overgeneralization that can only be overcome by walking. By traversing the in between of demographic extremes we can record the spatial evidence of these differences in the third dimension.
